WMS & Equipment Technician

Shift:
Mon to Friday | 7:00 am to 3:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Maintenance Technician is responsible to ensure the proper electromechanical functioning of the logistics equipment the necessary corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
Carry out the preventive maintenance tasks to keep the Handheld Devices (PDAs), Robots (AGVs), in best operating conditions.
Read, understand and train according to the technical documents of the equipment.
Complete workorders with proper documentation
Provide high levels of equipment availability such as PDAs to our internal customers.
Maintain the inventory records for supplies.
React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue, minimizing downtime.
Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Propose actions to improve the performance of PDA's /Robots and other machines, in terms of productivity, security or organization
Physically inspect the newly installed PDAs, AGVs and other machines, to prevent maintainability or operating issues.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Degree from vocational school with a focus in the Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical field
Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation
Minimum 5 years experience in similar position
Experience with bagging machines is desired.
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance is desired.
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Experience in interpreting mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings.
