Shift:
Mon to Friday | 7:00 am to 3:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible to ensure the proper electromechanical functioning of the logistics equipment the necessary corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Carry out the preventive maintenance tasks to keep the Handheld Devices (PDAs), Robots (AGVs), in best operating conditions.
- Read, understand and train according to the technical documents of the equipment.
- Complete workorders with proper documentation
- Provide high levels of equipment availability such as PDAs to our internal customers.
- Maintain the inventory records for supplies.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue, minimizing downtime.
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Propose actions to improve the performance of PDA's /Robots and other machines, in terms of productivity, security or organization
- Physically inspect the newly installed PDAs, AGVs and other machines, to prevent maintainability or operating issues.
- Degree from vocational school with a focus in the Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical field
- Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar position
- Experience with bagging machines is desired.
- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance is desired.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Experience in interpreting mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings.
