Wage range:
$18-$22hr + $1.25hr shift premium

Shift:
Monday-Thursday 10hr shifts 3PM-1:15AM

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operation of various CNC mills and lathes

FANUC-HAAS/Heidenhain/SIEMENS controllers
Basic understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints
Machine parts to tight tolerances and verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances and complete inspection records as required
Maintain direct work area and CNC machine for cleanliness
Assist with 5S and organizational initiatives
Assist with creation of work instructions for repeat jobs
Maintain fixture rack organization (labeling, updating fixture spreadsheet)
Preparing tooling and fixturing for upcoming jobs
Deburring machined parts for various jobs
Attend employee meetings and safety talks as required
Perform other tasks as required

Requirements:

Some experience in CNC machining environment
Ability to perform physical labour
Willingness to learn new skills and desire to accommodate requests
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
Crane experience considered an asset
Basic understanding of the ISO 9001 quality management system
Basic understanding of OH&S Legislation and Health & Safety best practices
Available to work overtime as business demand requires
Have excellent organizational / time management skills; attention to detail
Possess basic computer skills
Microsoft Office experience would be an asset
