The Office of the Registrar supports and celebrates student success.

We provide students and the campus community with support through the distribution of key information, high-quality service delivery and the maintenance of essential systems and processes.

Our dedicated staff work in a myriad of areas including Student Recruitment, Admissions, Academic Records, Convocation, Customer Service, Fees, Financial Aid, Registration & Course Scheduling, Reporting, Student Systems, and Transfer Services at both our North and Lakeshore campuses.

What you will do:


Reporting to the Manager, Admissions, the Admissions Officer supports the achievement of the institution's recruitment and enrolment plans as defined by Humber's SEM framework for the domestic student population.

What you bring to the role:

Education

Experience
The incumbent will have a minimum of 3-years progressive work experience.

The incumbent should demonstrate the following:
Thorough knowledge of the secondary school, college and university system. In addition, some knowledge of the educational systems of other provinces and countries.


Skills

  • Strong judgment, analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to train and motivate a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to develop proficiency within the student information system. Ability to work in a highly automated environment
