What you'll do

  • Analyze various topics as assigned (data and process), from the simple to the complex, presenting findings, including key information and issues, as well as potential solutions.
  • Develop & present Cost / Benefit Analyses
  • Contribute to or lead investigation of business requests
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to gain understanding of processes, issues and stakeholder concerns
  • Perform analysis of business requirements to assess cost or feasibility and research solutions
  • Provide input and recommendations on business processes and/or technical issues
  • Contribute to identification, analysis, improvement and recommendations of solutions (systems and process)
  • Work with a project team to construct, test and implement solutions
  • Prepare presentations on projects and activities
  • Present findings, issues and proposed solutions to various stakeholders
  • Evaluate cost impact of carrier contract offers and supports creation / presentation of appropriate negotiations support materials
  • Act as a Transportation Operations Subject Matter Expert on crossfunctional teams.

What you bring

  • 35 years of business experience within Supply Chain, Transportation experience is an asset
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks, setting and tracking own milestones, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Familiarity with project management and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset
  • Post secondary degree in a relevant discipline
