Master Flo Valve Inc. is currently seeking a
Quality Control Inspector to work in
Edmonton, AB.

Work Conditions:


  • Monday to Friday, 8 hour days
  • Work is primarily performed indoors.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform all Quality Control / Inspection requirements for Master Flo Valve Inc.

Duties Include:


  • Perform basic inspection of incoming parts in accordance with relevant purchasing, engineering, and quality requirements
  • Inspection of welds and associated supplier certification, calibration, procedural records
  • Review of MTRs, NDE, heat treatment and other reports
  • Identification, recording, and processing of nonconformances
  • Perform hardness testing as required
  • Calibration, maintenance, and tracking of measurement devices
  • Maintenance of clean working environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor or Quality Manager

Qualifications:

-
3 to 5 years of machine shop inspection and / or quality control inspection experience, or equivalent Engineering Technology education

  • Working knowledge of technical drawing / blueprint reading
  • Mechanical or Materials Engineering Technology Diploma
    preferred:
  • Oil and Gas equipment manufacturing experience is
    preferred:
  • CMM operating experience is
    preferred:
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP operating system
    preferred:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to maintain deadlines and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Salary:
$24.00-$28.00 per hour
