Ground Effects is looking for a
Sales Coordinator to assist the sales team in
Windsor, Ontario. Ground Effects Ltd.

has dedicated itself to excellence since 1986 and has evolved into a multi-faceted supplier of quality interior/exterior accessory components for the automotive industry and more.

The sales coordinator position will assist the Sales, Engineering and Purchasing departments as it relates to quoting, bill of material construction, material acquisition, customer requests, due dates, and coordination of sales orders throughout the build/sales order process.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the Sales team with the development and preparation of project proposals

This includes:

  • Collect and decipher projectspecific requirements in preparation for quotation / proposal.
  • Review RFQ / RFP documents.
  • Coordinate internal review and determine technical feasibility.
  • Assist with Customer Warranty Claims as required.
  • Maintain project documentation in keeping with GFX practices.
  • Maintain a master list of all sales code defined by quoted or engineered status while including prices, labor, weights, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain an accurate list of sales codes in use and create new sales codes when requested by department.
  • Provide accurate sales code info such as: feature code, product category, assembly variation description, vehicle model, dates created, etc.
  • Create supplier build sheets for each sale code(s).
  • Provide supplier info such as; contact, quote, supplier part number, supplier part description, GFX buy item numbers, price per sales code and installation time.
  • Price Break Down Creation/Maintenance.
  • Assist engineering in Bill of Material creation and maintenance upon kickoff of project.
  • Quote Creation / Validation / Maintenance. Price Break Down Creation / Maintenance (includes change revisions).
  • Verify PO and communicate with team.
  • Provide list of active configuration sale code / part number options with pricing.
  • Participate in the preparation of tentative time lines and / or build plans.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • University, College graduate in Business and/or Engineering.
  • Graduate of a recognized postsecondary institution in a technical field is recommended, preferably engineering.
  • 3 years relevant experience.
  • 5 years of automotive industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Sound interpersonal skills and an ability to work withmínimal supervision.
  • Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid Ontario driver's license.
  • Team oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel is preferred.
