Develop your expertise as a
Supervisor, Distribution and Inventory Management:

Reporting to the Director, Demand Planning and Containerboard Supply, the Supervisor, Distribution and Inventory Management will be responsible for maintaining and communicating the global distribution strategy for Containerboard Packaging rolls, with a view to maximizing resources, optimizing inventories and achieving the desired level of service.


  • Plan, organize, direct and control the management of raw material (rolls) supply to the packaging plants in close collaboration with the mills' production planning team;
  • Implement and maintain distribution planning and inventory management processes based on best practices and with a view to continuous improvement;
  • Participate in the development and execution of the master distribution and inventory management plan;
  • Be a vector of change in the implementation of a global vision and multisite standard, while considering local constraints;
  • Develop and mobilize a team of distribution planners;
  • Develop and maintain best practices in the use of SAP in a distribution and inventory management context (safety stock, lot size, replenishment lead time).

  • Hold a BAA in operations and logistics management or a bachelor's degree in operations and logistics engineering;
  • 5 years' experience in production planning, distribution or inventory management
  • Significant experience working with an ERP system, ideally SAP;
  • Have experience in personnel management and be a good coach, mobilizing and inspiring his/her team;
  • Be an energetic, enthusiastic and determined team player;
  • Be bilingual (working with teams in Canada and the United States);
  • Membership of APICS would be an asset.
