THIS IS NOT your regular summer job; it requires you to work outdoors in all kinds of weather, and it can be physically demanding.
Louis W Bray Construction is a family-owned and operated Heavy Civil General Contractor, but we are more than just your regular heavy civil construction company.

What are some of the things you will be doing?
- Follow the Company's health and safety requirements.
- Provide support to Site Supervisor through various handson construction and site tasks.
- Using powered tools such as Jackhammers; Chipping concrete and concrete removal
- Prepare sites and clean up rubble and debris to ensure a safe and wellmaintained construction site.
- Removing forms from set concrete, painting and other related tasks
- Load, unload and transport supplies, equipment and construction materials.
- Move tools, equipment, machinery and construction material to and from work areas.
- Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Must be 16 years of age or older to work on a Construction site as per the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is considered an asset.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lb.
- Able to work 10hour days Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm
- A positive, cando, teamoriented attitude.
- Ability to follow directions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to make decisions based on sound judgment and reasoning.
- High attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work independently and under direct supervision in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in the construction industry, landscaping, or manual labour is an asset
