The Job


We're looking for a Facilities Manager to lead and support our Operations and Project teams in the day-to-day operations of our shopping centres.

This includes overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, improvements, security, janitorial, and special projects that contribute to Hansbraun's commitment to ongoing growth.

Leading the team in alignment with our value of "people first" is also a significant part of this role.


A peek at some of your tasks:

  • Identifying, prioritizing and recommending improvements to the centres
  • Addressing current and future needs of the centres
  • Coordinating, scheduling and monitoring maintenance work on schedule and on budget
  • Recruiting, training and providing ongoing leadership to the team
  • Championing new ideas and removing barriers to continuous improvements in service delivery and work processes
  • Obtaining quotes for major work and overseeing contract renewals
  • Monthly monitoring and reporting on the status of the facilities
  • Interacting with tenants to resolve operational issues and build positive relationships

Experience and Qualifications:


  • 5 7 years' experience in a Facilities or Operations Management role
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead and manage a diverse team
  • Ability to plan, monitor and maintain projects and budgets
  • Teamoriented approach to meeting goals and objectives
  • Ability to make quick decisions, work in the grey, and manage (at times) through chaos
  • Strong prioritization skills in the face of high volume and competing demands
