As a Shipper you are responsible to pick and assemble finished goods according to the Sales order, by inserting items into appropriate box/crate based on product specifications or general overpack practices for purpose of shipment.

Affixing shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils, identifying shipping information on cartons/crates. You will work with various web-based shipping tools to identify and track all manner of shipments

What the job is all about:

  • Perform hi-level verification of inbound goods, checking for damage and completeness before passing to the Receiving Department
  • Fully responsible for completeness and physical integrity of all outbound shipments, including method of final packaging
  • Loading/unloading of transport vehicles, in a manner which respects the schedules of Ross Video and the respective carrier
  • Arrange the transportation of product between Ross Video locations/offices and assists in box assembly and material prep, assists in keeping inventory of all boxes and various shipping materials.
  • Participate in keeping all storage areas neat and tidy
  • Operates forklift truck to move goods between locations and loading goods onto trucks Overtime and/or shift work may be required

Who you are:


  • High school diploma
  • Have a working knowledge of computers and software packages such as MS Word/Excel/Outlook
  • You are capable of following procedures and work logically and have experience in the use of a Forklift
  • Have an attention to detail and are organized
  • Solid commitment to consistent, quality work habits and you are able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Display a willingness and aptitude to learn new things
  • Make good choices that represent the business' best needs
  • 12 years experience within a warehouse or shipping environment, with a valid driver's license and clean abstract
  • Available for shift work
