Role Purpose:
Wolfe's Inventory Coordinator will, coordinate and lead the accurate execution of material kitting and handling functions.

In addition, this person will be responsible for inventory-related ERP system accuracy, maintaining data integrity by conducting regular cycle counts, location audits and performing root-cause analysis of discrepancies.

The Inventory Control Coordinator will conduct inventory-related transactions as well as assist the development of Inventory processes in the ERP system and other Business Platforms as required.

As needed, this person will support receiving, customer order processing and shipping transactions, which includes picking, checking, sorting, consolidating bins, packing, loading and shipment confirmation of customer orders.


Reports To:
Production Control & Supply Chain Manager


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Materials planning: Support Production Schedule requirements ensuring timely kitting/delivery of material to each work cell
  • Material/location planning: Accurate planning and location of materials inventory, quantity, and delivery of the materials to the work cell
  • Inventory: Develop & execute inventory control processes that align with the businesses strategic plan. Perform inventory control processes such as inventory cycle counts, root cause analysis of variances, and implementing corrective action
  • Receiving: Receive, sort, control, transfer, and issue material to various departments as needed
  • Shipping/logistics: Prepare packaging and accurately complete shipping paperwork as needed.
  • ERP inventoryrelated maintenance: Entering material information into the ERP, updating inprocess work orders, and BOM's
  • Organization and cleanliness: Work in an organized and structured manner, maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Quality and accuracy: Takes ownership and is diligent in accurately completing documentation, counting, entering information into the business ERP
  • Operate fork truck, cranes, and genie boom.
  • Follow all OHSA regulations and company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • 35 years of experience in Inventory Control
  • College degree related to Logistics or any other related training (any other combination of education and/or experience may be considered)
  • Production, manufacturing, and materials inventory experience is a plus
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills
  • Logistics: shipping/receiving experience
  • ERP/Business Platform experience preferred
  • APICS certificati
