Job Summary

Pet Valu Canada is seeking an End User Services Administrator.

The End User Services Administrator is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting technology solutions across the organization with a focus on Microsoft Intune and Teams as well as automation and reporting systems.

They will work closely with various teams to ensure directory information is accurate and that user compliance standards are enforced.


This individual will play a vital role in the day-to-day experience of our workforce by ensuring that key tool sets are up-to-date and their efficiencies are regularly reviewed.

  • Ensures that internal controls are used to mitigate risks around user experiences through system best practices
  • Understanding the business needs and defining solutions to provide new technological opportunities for the business.
  • Provide accurate and timely recommendations to management for decision making purposes by analyzing current systems and processes to understand the system

Efficiency:

  • Review and audit processes and procedures to align efficiencies
  • Improve the Technology process and through analytics, automation and continuous improvement of processes
  • Server as the primary administrator for Microsoft Intune, responsible for managing and maintaining Intune infrastructure and configurations.
  • Implement security measures within Intune to safeguard organizational data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to Intune configurations, policies, and deployments.
  • Administer telecom services through Teams and Intune while coordinating with vendors as appropriate.
  • Provide level 1 support for Access Control and CCTV systems along with vendor escalation and management
  • Work closely with IT Security to support user access reviews and drive cleanup and alignment initiatives.
  • Review support ticket analytics and user responses and define reporting and dashboards based on SLAs and KPIs
  • Provide afterhours troubleshooting support and assistance as necessary.
Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications

  • 2 year College certificate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • 2 Years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration required
  • A strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams or Intune
  • Experience building, configuring, and monitoring all types of endpoints
  • Handson experience with project deployments.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and standard support strategies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with creating and communicating reported information.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • MS Office Product Experience
  • An understanding of Microsoft Exchange, OneDrive, and Sharepoint
  • Understanding of access control systems and access control software, including CCTV security cameras
