Introduction
IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change.

We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

This position resides in Montreal, ON and is a 4 month work term commencing in May 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.

Provide technical support and maintenance for the SWIFT financial messaging system
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the SWIFT internal infrastructure
Work closely with other technical team members to ensure the system is running smoothly and efficiently
Assist with system upgrades and enhancements
Monitor the system for performance and security issues
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and processes
Participate in team meetings and provide updates on ongoing projects
Learning to stay uptodate with the latest developments in SWIFT technology

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or recent graduated from the above mentioned
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with operating systems, such as Linux and Windows
Interest in pursuing a career in the financial technology industry
Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in May 2023

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Basic understating of SWIFT components
Experience in the financial industry is a plus
Registered in a formal coop/internship program

Location Statement

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions.
