Responsibilities

  • Office 365\Azure migrations, security, and administration
  • Responsibility for maintaining the integrity and performance of company databases
  • Ensuring the security of company data (cloud and onpremises)
  • Supervision of modifications to any existing databases and servers
  • Work with external vendors for Database and Infrastructure migrations
  • Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans
  • Domain management
  • Onsite support

Qualifications/Skills:


  • Office 365/Azure and Microsoft server management
  • Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
  • Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
  • Understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling
  • PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project Management
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure

Education and Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Minimum Five years of experience in Microsoft Server and O365\Azure security and management
  • Minimum Five years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
  • MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
  • Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL)
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
