The Marketing team partners with our business partners to design world class marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver on business objectives, drive shareholder value, and customer loyalty.
Our team acts as consultants on all aspects of marketing including influencing the business strategy, leading the development and execution of marketing plans, and delivering marketing solutions consistent with TD's marketing standards and strategies.

Then the position of Marketing Planning Manager for the Life & Health Insurance Marketing Team is a good fit for you.
- Partner with the business to develop omni-channel strategies to drive acquisition
- Create integrated marketing campaigns that meet business and marketing strategies and objectives
- Translate marketing objectives and consumer insights into communication strategy (benefit, offer, reason to believe "RTB" or proof points)
- Work with marketing partners and business units to develop appropriate customer insights for marketing briefs
- Evaluates creative campaigns and media strategies based on their impact on customer behaviour
- Understand role of different media options and their impact on achieving marketing objectives, and oversee flawless execution of tactical media and creative plans
- Lead/interface and contribute to crossfunctional marketing teams to deliver all elements of campaigns and marketing solutions including, targeted and channel marketing
- Develop marketing strategies and plans; understand market and growth drivers, create a vision of market, channel, and segment potential, develop value propositions and proof points that further our competitive advantage, and translate business strategies into marketing plans
- Deliver and monitor results; ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan (monitor/ early indicators) and where required, take corrective actions to achieve targets
- Analyze past results/data and makes recommendations to maximize return on investment
- Evaluate effectiveness of in market activity
- Post Implementation Review (including recommendations)
- Tell our Story effectively communicate the results and sell the value of marketing. Make simple and concise recommendations leveraging data insights to drive action.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- 7+ years of direct marketing experience, preferably with integrated campaign strategy and development (digital, social, TV, radio, targeted marketing, etc.) and media expertise to drive customer acquisition
- Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and strategy development
- Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
- Ability to manage large budgets and work within the constraints of that budget
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction and provide advice to senior leadership
- Skill in mentoring/coaching others
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives
- Ability to contribute to making an impact, influencing and achieving results with effective negotiation, problemsolving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
