Description

Waste Control Services is currently looking to add a full-time Front Load Driver to our fast paced, energetic, and passionate service team.

We are searching for aClass 3 Driver (air endorsement required). This position will work in our Coquitlam facility.


Responsibilities:


  • Strong verbal communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong knowledge of Metro Vancouver roadways a definite asset
  • Ability to perform very physically demanding job (pushing and pulling hundreds of pound bins 6080 times/daily)
  • Perform daily Pre & Post trip inspections
  • Other duties as assigned

To be Successful:

  • Class 3 License with Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1 License is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in the waste management industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and evolving group dynamic.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment, while maintaining a positive and respectful work atmosphere with the other employees.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervisions at times with the added expectation to work in a team environment
