Coamaceutical Research Lab Inc. is a leading contract manufacturer specializing in personal care products and OTC drugs.We are currently looking for a R&D Chemist / Formulation Technician to join our team in Surrey BC, where you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative solid and liquid dosage forms.
Your role will be pivotal in transforming target market needs into tangible products, contributing to our commitment to excellence in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
l Conduct R&D trials for solid and liquid dosage forms, translating market requirements into viable formulations.
l Meticulously collect and document trial data for product development reports, ensuring organized and accessible records.
l Prepare, package, label, and coordinate the shipment of trial and small batch samples in alignment with customer specifications and sales team coordination.
l Diligently maintain the laboratory space and equipment, ensuring a seamless operational environment.
l Provide support to the production department to refine and optimize product formulations.
l Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
l A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent diploma) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Science, or Chemical Engineering.
l At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory or commercial environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industries.
l Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
l Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
l Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
l Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
l Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adhere to deadlines.
l Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Position Type:
Full-time, Permanent
Compensation:
$23 - $30 per hour
