IT Asset Coordinator


Reporting to the Manager, IT Service Delivery and Applications, the IT Asset Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing Western's Technology Services assets including hardware, software, licenses, and inventory.


Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Performing various administrative duties such as: equipment shipping and receiving; filing records; and inputting data into systems
  • Maintaining, and managing a centralized asset database ensuring accurate inventory of all software and hardware assets at all stages of lifecycle
  • Administering procedures for tracking IT assets to oversee quality control
  • Tracking and administering account access for Western's Microsoft and Adobe licenses
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment requests and returns
  • Coordinating and executing annual hardware audit activities across multiple office locations
  • Performing and maintaining documented Asset Management processes
  • Procurement of devices (laptops, desktops, and peripheral equipment) within a set budget
  • Coordinating hardware refresh programs
  • Maintaining high standards of organization in the Technology Services department

The value you bring

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Organized and detailed orientated
  • Ability to multitask, plan and prioritize incoming requests
  • Good working knowledge with excel spreadsheets
  • Strong customer service skills

Hours:
Full-time/ 37.5 hour/week

In office, High River, Alberta or Winnipeg, Manitoba
