Position Overview
Wescan Residential Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Plumber to join our team and provide top-notch plumbing services to our residential clients.
As a ResidentialPlumber, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in homes. Your expertise and professionalism will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and comfort of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics to identify plumbing issues in residential properties and effectively communicate findings to clients.
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and installations of plumbing fixtures, pipes, fittings, and appliances such as sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and more.
- Collaborate with clients to discuss repair and installation options, providing accurate cost estimates and outlining the steps involved in the process.
- Utilize appropriate tools, equipment, and materials to complete plumbing tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and regulations, ensuring all work meets required standards and passes inspections.
- Complete Wescan work orders, maintain and update records of work performed, including detailing the nature of the issue, actions taken, and materials used.
- Respond to emergency plumbing situations promptly and effectively, offering solutions to mitigate damage and ensure client safety.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of plumbing techniques, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor, addressing client concerns, and leaving workspaces clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate schedules, share expertise, and enhance overall team performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in plumbing is preferred.
- Valid plumbing license/certification in accordance with local regulations.
- Proven experience as a Plumber with a strong portfolio of successful plumbing projects is an asset.
- 3rd or 4th year apprentice with service experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency in diagnosing plumbing issues, repairing leaks, installing fixtures, and conducting maintenance on various plumbing systems.
- Solid understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex plumbing issues in simple terms to clients.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customerfocused mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs and emergency situations.

Salary:
$28.15-$40.21 per hour
