Position Overview

  • Understand and communicate our product suite and functionality to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Engage both internal and external stakeholders to identify and document Scope, Business, Functional and Nonfunctional requirements, producing written artifacts such as; Scope Statements, Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Requirements & Systems Design Specifications Documents (FRD/SDS), Change Requests (CR), and Sprint Backlog.
  • Outline Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to map Scope, BRD, FRD/SDS, CR, Backlog.
  • With the assistance of the Implementation team; prepare UAT scripts for project pass criteria to meet business requirements.
  • Execute UAT scripts as part of QA phase, log bugs, retest as needed.
  • Engage with the customer during their UAT test activities, tracking their progress, logging bugs, and internal team awareness for resolution.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders to produce useful reports and recommendations.
  • Gather and develop user stories for the project configuration build.
  • Support the Product team by developing user stories for any client requested functionality that is not part of the project build.
  • Create and deliver Demo Scripts.
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross functional team members and management.
  • Engage successfully with the Scrum process forming collaborative relationships with other project team members.
  • Develop and/or provide input into internal and external communications and user documentation.
  • Gain and maintain a basic understanding of Asset and Operations Management to give context to the system requirements.
  • Remain current on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize processes and systems.
  • Travel (30%) mainly to the United States, possibility aboard.

  • Requirements Elicitation this role involves using interview, elicitation, and documentation skills to author Scope Statements, BRDs, FRD/SDS's, CRs and User Stories for customer signoff and implementation by the project team.
  • Interpersonal skills you will work closely with people at all levels of the organization. Since they collaborate with people from a wide range of backgrounds, strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
  • Analytical thinking because you evaluate the effectiveness of processes and software systems, you must know how to assess the company's current system capabilities and identify areas of improvement. Also, use this same knowledge to evaluate how new systems will satisfy requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree in software, business, or related field, or BA certification in CBAP, CCBA etc, are an asset.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Highly adaptable to change and comfortable working in complex and fastpaced project environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years working as Business Analyst/Consultant in an external client facing environment.
