Your Role:

Your role will include:

  • Providing input and leadership while assisting in the implementation of corporate governance strategy and direction.
  • Providing daily management and guidance to our Legal team.
  • Reviewing, drafting, and/or negotiating a variety of contracts for various departments of the company.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and advising teams on all legal aspects of our business, including public procurement rules and best practices.
  • Participating in disputeresolution proceedings related to construction projects and contract disputes and other disputes that may arise, and providing practical guidance to our teams and the Board.
  • Working with the company's insurers to ensure compliance and timely policy renewals.
  • Coordinating the advancement of various legal claims with our external litigators and advising our internal teams on litigation procedures, responses, and settlement strategies.
  • Supporting the company's engagement with our employee shareholders, such as by coordinating the annual general meeting and shareholder communications.
  • As a member of the leadership of the organization, working collaboratively with other stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for the entire organization.
