About the Opportunity:


The Manager, Clinical Planning will work in collaboration with the Director, Managers, and Physician Leaders to deliver on perioperative projects and strategic goals.

Perioperative Project scope is in alignment with the Action for health, a multi-pronged, multi year strategy to address government mandates, and includes but is not limited to the Must Do Can't Fail initiatives, planning, implementation and ongoing management of OR Centralized Booking, major capital purchases and implementation of new technology, development and implementation of periop C3 tiles, QEII Redevelopment, and perioperative clinical services planning across the zone.

The Manager, Clinical Planning reports to the Director, Perioperative, Pain and Medical Device Reprocessing.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline or area
  • Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or similar an asset
  • 35 years' experience in perioperative health care
  • Experience in project work, including planning, implementation, evaluation and operational readiness
  • Exceptional facilitation, conflict management and problemsolving skills
  • Project management experience
  • Project Management Professional certification is an asset.
  • Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
  • Experience in healthcare planning, operations, and clinical experience in the perioperative environment
  • Experience in a leadership role in health care planning or project management
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other departments, consultants, and other stakeholders

Hours:


  • Permanent Full-Time; 75 Hours Biweekly.
  • Flexible work hours required.
  • Travel to various sites may be required.

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $58.34 Hourly
