Position Description

Position Responsibilities

  • Handle internal inquiries in a prompt, accurate and professional manner.
  • Maintain and distribute appropriate files, documents, and mail related to fleet and procurement to internal and external parties.
  • Paper copy upload into our fleet management system to support vehicle files.
  • Distribute fleet related reports on regularly scheduled routines.
  • Review invoice and repair order for accuracy
  • Ensure all repair information and system data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient deployment of fleet resources to meet service demands.
  • Monitor fleet operations to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule routine servicing and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to waste transportation.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including dispatchers, drivers, technicians, and customer service representatives.
  • Address vendor inquiries, complaints, or service issues related to fleet operations.
  • Foster effective communication channels to ensure smooth coordination and problemsolving.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

  • Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations within Ontario (20%).
  • Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field, preferably in waste management.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Indepth knowledge of procurement regulations, best practices, and sustainability principles.
  • Experience in administrative tasks/roles.
  • Proficient at Data entry.
  • Knowledge and experience with inventory management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and waste disposal procedures.
  • AZ/DZ license considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in using fleet management software and route optimization tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to optimize routes and resolve operational issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

$65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
