Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

Assembler Job Duties:

Read, follow and understand engineering drawings and blueprints, determine the materials required, and plan the sequence of tasks to assemble components most efficiently
Responsible for assembling parts, gears, seals, and hoists for water control gates, towers, and hoisting equipment
Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
Perform "hang tests" on completed water control gates
Install finished components in final product
Assemble product using manual and automatic tooling
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform duties as per supervisor.

Requirements:

Completion of high school diploma
Minimum 4 years related experience
Manual dexterity
Able to climb, push, pull, stand for periods of time and sometimes work in awkward positions to assemble
Manually lift up to 30lbs
