Salary Starting from $45,000 per year plus commission.

Position Details
Euro Tile & Stone is looking for an Account Manager for the Architecture & Design community.

You will have the opportunity to develop, grow and manage the company's presence in the A&D market in the GTA and Southern Ontario, leading to specification of Euro Tile & Stone's products.

In addition, you'll have the opportunity to work with builders, developers, contractors and more. Be a part of our growing team, as we continue to grow in our beautiful new Toronto location.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Responsible for developing, growing and managing Euro Tile & Stone's brand and product awareness, as well as drive sales to the contract design & architecture segments
  • Manage relationships with other project stakeholders including contractors, fabricators, owners/property managers/end users, developers, service providers, etc.
  • Create short and longterm market strategy including identifying prospects and upcoming projects
  • Win specifications, follow up on projects, obtain PO's
  • Organize, prepare and deliver brand and product presentations via breakfasts, lunch and learns, 5a7's
  • Attend, participate in and host industry associated events
  • Have a great understanding of our vast product types, collections and their technical attributes including continually and proactively familiarizing yourself with new products, finding creative ways to use our collections and staying up to date with design trends; this is in addition to the training we provide
  • Work with internal resources including our library, product and supply chain managers to source product to meet client needs
  • Teamwork. That means collaborating with other Account Managers and working harmoniously with other business units including merchandising, product, marketing, logistics, etc.
  • Maintain accurate relationship, product placement & project details with updated developments within project management database
  • Timely management and communication across all parties to ensure successful implementation of programs including updating sales collateral, product technical data and information, samples, mock ups and proposals.
  • Sales administration including CRM, call cycles, updating client's merchandise

What You Bring to the Role

  • An understanding that the client is central to everything we do
  • Existing relationships and experience selling to the A&D community
  • Demonstrated success in establishing, growing and maintaining a sales territory with a serviceoriented value proposition
  • Exposure working with a mid to high end product offering
  • Mature, positive, friendly, courteous attitude
  • Balance all types of communication and responsibilities
  • Proactive problem solver. That also means identifying potential problems and taking care of them before they might escalate
  • Able to use technology (ERP, Microsoft Office, iPad). We'll train you on our systems in your first week.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in the tile, stone, flooring or hard surfaces industry is a strong asset
  • Industry association and committee involvement is an asset
  • Other languages. We're an international company so tell us about any other languages you speak
