    Pay Range: $ - $

    Summary:

    Reporting to the Group Sales Manager-Front End-Receiving, Cashiers will welcome and interact with customers during the checkout process, handle customer funds accurately, and explain additional Cabela's services and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Welcome and engage customers in a warm and enthusiastic manner
    • Create a memorable experience for each customer and advocate for Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's programs
    • Utilize Point-Of-Sale and Inventory (SAP) systems to efficiently complete customer transactions, adhering to all policies, including identification and age verification
    • Process customer payments using debit, credit cards, gift cards, and cash
    • Address and resolve customer issues with sound judgment and problem-solving skills within the scope of the role
    • Support asset protection by following procedures, such as inspecting products, checking for price discrepancies, and managing security devices
    • Assist unsatisfied customers by rectifying issues or escalating to a Manager on Duty
    • Perform opening and closing tasks when required: dispose of trash, restock supplies, tidy cash wraps, wipe counters, and organize drawer supplies
    • Support other store areas based on business needs

    Qualifications:

    • Preferably one or more years of experience in a sales or service setting
    • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations
    • Strong decision-making skills and logical thinking ability
    • Background in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is beneficial
    • Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's products is a plus
