Business Analyst - Linx Underwriting

What the day will look like

Our new colleague will work closely with the Linx management team to help drive continuous growth revenue and at the same time increasing profitability through challenging the status quo, and seeking enhancements to operational efficiencies.

This role provides many opportunities to have a positive impact on the success of the Linx team through the assumption of responsibilities in a number of key areas, including standardizing our service level, creating a common set of service standards, management reporting, marketing and website enhancement.

Some of the key responsibilities are outlined below.

In support of the standardization of service levels, tasks may include the receipt of submission to quote to bind to policy issuance, reviewing and revising Linx service standards for above tasks, reporting template and data capture requirements to provide carriers with monthly bordereaux, and looking for ways to automate processes.

In order to optimize operational performance, this role will also work on monitoring performance against agreed service standards, analyzing variances both adverse and favourably and identifying changes that may be required.

Management reporting responsibilities may include:
Developing a suite of standardized monthly reports showing details such as our financial performance vs plan
Service level performance,
Accounts receivable and payable
Variance analysis and
Updates on a broad range of initiatives

Marketing activities will include developing marketing materials with each business line, collaborating with Aon marketing and translation services to deliver content as required and reviewing the existing process and ensuring marketing materials remain up to date and relevant.

Website-related responsibilities such as the management of maintenance, enhancements and updates, building controls to maintain accuracy and developing a process to ensure new programs are added and making sure closed programs are removed.

Our new Business Analyst will collaborate with the portfolio manager to establish the following:
Business plan showing projected GWP and projected financial results for minimum 3 years
Key selling points
Why Aon will support the initiative and,
A marketing / communications plan, including launch timeline.
