Responsabilités


La personne choisie sera responsable du plan des ventes et marketing, de maximiser la clientèle corporative existante et de solliciter de nouveaux comptes pour tous les marchés de l'industrie (corporatifs, groupes, smerfs, tours).

Responsable de la réalisation des activités de gestion, sollicitations, représentations sur la route, visites des TMC, suivi des clients, participation aux salons 'tradeshows' touristique, activités de la chambre de commerce de l'ouest de l'ile et de Montréal, évènements & les 'blitz' Marriott.

Analyser les rapports 'Hotelligence', identifier les opportunités, suivre la compétition de près, préparer et atteindre les budgets prévus pour les différents segments de clientèles.

Rédiger les contrats selon la tarification de l'hôtel et produire les rapports de productivité requis. Participation aux réunions maximisation de revenus, gérer les 'rfp' et négocier les comptes locaux.

The
Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales operations of the hotel with the goal of maximizing rates and overall revenues for the property and its ownership.

Specifically, this person is responsible for soliciting and booking transient volume accounts and local group business from corporate accounts by developing contacts and relationships.


Fully understanding the aloft culture this person has the ability to exceed revenue goals by offering an exciting alternative to the current market.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


_ Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will:_

  • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through relationships, telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
  • Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers
  • Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings
  • Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance
  • Finalize all bookings/contracts in a timely manner servicing guests through the process
  • As required by ownership or the General Manager, participate in daily RevMax call, preconvention meetings, training and other salesrelated meetings
  • Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers
  • Participate as team player with all departments
  • Assist with reports and/or competition data collection
  • Actively pursue new clients through creative/innovative sales techniques
  • Drive product quality and a unique guest experience at every opportunity

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the Workplace
  • English and French
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Perform in a team environment with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to establish and master goals
  • Excellent computer skills (including, but not limited to, Accounting Programs, Microsoft Office and Delphi)
  • Math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required
