We are currently looking for a Temporary Full-Time Scale Attendant
(April - December) to work in our fast-paced waste district at our
Ottawa, ON location.**:

Pay rate:
$17.43 per hour

Shift timing: 8AM - 5:30 PM; some Saturdays required

Essential Job Duties:

Operate the weighstation scale
Directing traffic onsite
Guiding the general public and offering direction
Keeping the area clean
Some sorting of materials

Requirements:

Good data entry skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Outlook, Word, and Excel
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Position may be required overtime work depending on business need
Heavy equipment experience would be an asset

Physical Requirements:

Able to work utilizing safety glasses, steeltoed work shoes, uniform and hearing protection.
Must be able to stand continually through the entire shift.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to pass all preemployment checks, including drug test.
