Description

We have an immediate opening for a Contract (12 months) Technician, Avionics for the Production Department-Langley. This position will be based out of the Langley facility and will report to the Manager, Production.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance & installation of avionics and electrical systems fitted to aircraft
  • Ensuring all applicable AD's, SB's, modifications, SL's, etc. are complied with
  • Recording work on Company build sheets or applicable forms
  • Following established maintenance techniques and adhering to standards
  • Placing complete parts orders for projects
  • Submitting product status reports Other duties as assigned

Applicable qualifications, attributes and competencies are:

  • Minimum one (1) year experience with maintenance and installation of avionics and related electrical systems
  • Formal, recognized training (BCIT or equivalent)
  • A current AME "E" license an asset
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Familiarity with current aviation regulations and standards
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of aircraft avionics systems
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Must be able to travel and work overtime as needed
