Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of relevant experience related to vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations.

Preferred qualifications:


  • MBA, graduate degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Contingent workforce management experience.
  • Experience managing complex programs and projects, with experience developing and implementing project plans.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, including the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders, and effectively manage conflict.
  • Ability to manage and communicate change across all levels of an organization, from executives to employees.

Product Area Business Partners play a critical role in successfully delivering extended workforce models across Alphabet. They help Product Areas, Bets, and Functions mature their extended workforce strategy and support the execution of key initiatives.

They represent Extended Workforce Solutions in a challenging space that must balance immense, ever-changing legal requirements with complex operational aptitude.

This role is key in executing our initiatives and delivering value to our partners.

Responsibilities:


  • Act as a strategic thought partner to deliver collaborative initiatives to meet business objectives that are mutually beneficial.
  • Partner with Product Area extended workforce management in planning and execution of their unique resourcing model to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Own strategic recommendations and drive roadmaps across multiple workstreams.
  • Garner data insights to inform decisionmaking.
  • Represent Extended Workforce Solutions broadly and discover opportunities to improve existing processes, systems, and solutions.
