Department Overview

Working collaboratively alongside our Partners across TD on a variety of projects, we carefully craft every new initiative ensure seamless delivery to the field, executing with speed and impact.


  • Reporting to the Vice President
  • Branch Performance & Network Strategy, the AVP
  • Branch Strategy & Network Planning will be accountable for:
  • Owning the Branch Playbook and Go-To-Market strategy for PBDE while acting as a "thought-leader" and change agent to further advance the Bank's approach to network planning.
  • Developing a market and branch segmentation approach to support an integrated Market Planning Strategy to optimize growth market penetration.
  • Partnering to implement market plans and supporting the understanding of current state & impact of planned changes and the evolving role of the branch in an omnichannel context.
  • Determining the medium and longterm view of branch formats in the context of the evolving distribution landscape to introduce formats that are aligned to evolving customer behaviours and preferences.
  • Proactively staying current with business priorities and responding to new market dynamics
  • Gain agreement and funding to support plan implementation.
  • Manage $168MM Capital and $375 Operating Expense plans for customer facing retail real estate network and ATM spend.
  • Optimize the existing Network Planning framework to continuously evolve a market leading, comprehensive, and holistic longterm retail network including the branch hours strategy.
