About this opportunity
Are you a Human Resources professional ready for that next progression in your scope of responsibility and development? Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working in partnership with the regional leadership team, you will work to support those Human Resources initiatives that are aligned to the regional business objectives intended to drive engagement and excellence in client and team member experience.

As a designated HR professional, you will provide generalist support to managers/leaders in the areas of recruitment and onboarding, management and employee development, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, disability management, health and safety, employee engagement and wellness.

You are an HR generalist with demonstrated experience juggling a multitude of projects and HR related activities.


Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

  • Provide coaching and support to managers, team leaders related to employee relations, performance management and CBI HR policies & procedures
  • Support the implementation and administration of the Performance Professional Development program
  • Coordinate training initiatives as required
  • Advise regional leaders and support engagement initiatives and communications
  • Support and administer new hire Orientation and Onboarding programs
  • Participate in workforce planning based on market changes and operational needs
  • Actively participate in and support talent acquisition related activities and internal CBI job posting practices
  • Support and administer health and safety initiatives and employee disability claims in partnership with the HR Manager and Clinic leaders (Worker's Compensation, modified work, leave of absence, short term and longterm disability)
  • In partnership with managers, team leaders coordinate early and safe return to work programs and plans
  • Ensure compliance with all elements of Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures and assist in implementing health and safety CBI initiatives
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing HR metrics
  • Prepare employee documentation including but not limited to employee recognition, coaching, corrective actions, offer, changes of status and termination materials
  • Support and guide regional leadership in all areas of employment legislative requirements and escalate to the HR Manager as appropriate

What you need to be successful

  • Postsecondary or postgraduate education in human resources
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources generalist capacity
  • Working toward or possess a human resources designation
  • Resourceful, selfdirected and detailoriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated time management skills with an orientation to meet deadlines
  • Goal and results oriented
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Tech savvy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and resources
