Job Profile:


The Signage and Technical Document Specialist supports DFI's fleet decal and signage needs, along with creating and maintaining our internal technical documents.

This position best suits an individual that is committed to timely production and high-quality work with mínimal supervision. Your time will be split between office work and hands-on sign production and installation.

Job Duties:


  • Maintain inventory of commonly used signage materials.
  • Manage thirdparty vendors (engraving, banner printing, etc.)
  • Create and upkeep a design and production library for reliable access to signage design files and past project data.
  • Create, update, improve and maintain new and existing technical documents.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical document inquiries
  • Organize and manage document database and library.
  • Ensure technical manuals align with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Quality, Operations, Manufacturing and Health/Safety departments.

Qualifications:


  • Clean class 5 driver's license
  • Strong technical writing, proof reading and editorial skills are an asset.
  • Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to accept new challenges and to work independently
  • Active listening skills
  • Proficient with uptodate graphic design software (such as Adobe Design Suite, CorelDRAW etc).
  • Must be an independent selfstarter that is committed to high production while adhering to DFI's quality and safety requirements.
