We are currently looking for a highly motivated and committed Billing Specialist to join Surex's Magrath, Alberta office.

About the role:

Reporting to the Billing Manager, the primary goal of the Billing Specialist is to support our Advisors and clients' needs or inquiries.

Your top-notch Customer Service, experience and dedication will play a key role in Surex's continued growth.

Your natural ability to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment, providing clear and concise communication both written and verbal will be influential in helping our customers experience.

Thorough hands-on training will be provided to help set you up for success with the opportunity to advance and grow within the company.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Answer inbound calls from advisors and clients as well as make outbound calls
Respond to all online inquiries from advisors and clients
Investigate pay questions, concerns or cancellation requests
Assess and understand clients' needs to provide viable solution(s)
Complete tasks efficiently and with a sense of urgency and accuracy
Processing various types of billing changes in PowerBroker (CRM), Zendesk & all company portals Surex represents with an in depth understanding of our Broker Management System
Participation in training and development programs
Work with other team members and customers to better understand current processes to detail suggestions, efficiencies or improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

1 year of working experience with PowerBroker (CRM)
1 year of working experience with Zendesk
13 years of customer service experience
Motivated with a dedicated work ethic and a positive outlook
Comfortable multitasking in a fastpaced work environment
Results driven, strong initiative to achieve individual and team goals
Ability to adapt to and embrace change and technology solutions
High customer service standards (Prompt, responsible, reliable, courteous, friendly)
Prior Insurance Industry experience is considered an asset
