About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services and the Orthopedic Assessment Clinic the Secretary carries out administrative duties and performs booking, scheduling, clerical and reception functions to support the team in the delivery of Rehabilitation Services.
The Secretary ensures that the principles and practices that guide NSH such as the mission, vision, values, expected behaviours, respectful workplace, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and interprofessional collaboration are integrated within the services they provide and through the messages they deliver.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade 12 plus successful completion of a recognized secretarial program and a medical terminology course
- Minimum of two years of related experience
- Ability to use Microsoft Windows and all components of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Accurate keyboarding skills with a minimum speed of 45 wpm with a maximum five (5) percent error rate
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
- Commitment to promoting a culture that supports safety, ethical practices and organizational health.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:
- Permanent Parttime, 50% FTE; 35 hours biweekly
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $22.50 Hourly
