Position Description:

The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning all designated areas within the job location. The Cleaner will have a direct impact on improving the health and overall appearance of the job site. A Site Cleaner plays a fundamental role in transforming spaces from construction sites to living spaces.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform various cleaning duties: wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, window cleaning, etc.
  • Perform daily safety checks: Ensure equipment and tools are in good working order. Ensure there are no safety hazards in the workplace.
  • Work safely in heights whether with ladders or lifts.
  • Follow best cleaning practices & the company's proven cleaning process to ensure the highest quality.
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and requirements as set forth by management in regards to safety and all regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned: removing cardboard protection, stickers, labels, etc.

Qualifications:


  • HAVE A VALID WORK PERMIT
  • MUST.
  • Knowledge of general cleaning techniques preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience as a cleaner required
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or perform other physical tasks as required
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with long hours occasionally required
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written) required
  • Detailoriented & a sense of urgency required

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week


Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
