Position:
Red Seal Roofing Journeyman

Starting wages are $35$45 per hour (pending experience)

Strong understanding of a variety of roofing systems
Participation in daily hazard assessments and weekly toolbox meetings
Installation of specialized roofing materials and supplies
Safely handle and store propane, torches, solvents, and adhesives
Accuracy and organization in completing site paperwork
Utilize clear lines of communication and treat others with dignity and respect
Provide guidance and support to new workers
Responsible for the safe use of all power tools
Strong job planning skills and can easily change tasks as needed to complete the job
Work within safety guidelines, and comply with WCB Safety Regulations

Requirements:

Red Seal Ticketed applicator with major commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO and SBS
Driver's license and your own transportation is considered an asset
Can safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices and/or equipment
Ability to work at various heights while adhering to safety protocols
Can perform physical activity on regular basis
Fluent in the English language and can clearly communicate with supervisors, clients, and coworkers
Be able to follow and understand safe work procedures
