This is a 12-month mandate in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
The mandate is under the _Equality in Action_ Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP), which takes place in 14 countries and 3 regions over a seven-year period


The VCP aims to increase the involvement of local partners in developing countries through inclusive, innovative and sustainable development initiatives that will advance gender equality.

Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people, to claim and exercise their rights.

Oxfam places the rights of women, girls and vulnerable and marginalized people at the heart of everything it does.


Here's what your daily life will look like:
In close collaboration with Oxfam's in-country team members, your mandate will be to:

  • Conduct workshops and set up co-learning spaces to support the local partner organization "Instituto de Formación Femenina Integral" in their strategic planning;
  • Support the organization in the development of their five and three year plans;
  • Collaborate with the Feminist Monitoring-EvaluationAccountability and Learning Advisor in the development of tools;
  • Assist in the systematization, presentation and positioning of the program's good practices;
  • Compile actions and products developed jointly with the organization, as well as any relevant information on the results obtained;
  • Contribute to the elaboration of program and project monitoring and evaluation reports.

For this mandate you must:


  • Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status in Canada;
  • Have a university degree in social sciences, economics, project management, administration or other relevant field;
  • Have 3 years of experience relevant to the mandate;
  • Be fluent in Spanish, spoken and written (mandatory);
  • Have excellent writing skills;
  • Master the Office suite.

  • A volunteer support program during your mandate and up to two months after your return to Canada;
