    Acquired in 2018 by Tidan, this hotel is located in the heart of the Montreal metropolis. The Marriott Château Champlain is a 1-minute walk from the metro, accessible by an underground route, adjacent to the Bell Centre. This iconic Montreal hotel was completely renovated in 2021, with 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, 25 meeting rooms, and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.     Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, kitchen utensils, and maintaining various work areas clean.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Ensure washing, rinsing, and disinfection of dishes, glasses, cutlery, and kitchen utensils.
    • Ensure the cleanliness and quality of washed items.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
    • Clean floors, walls, and equipment according to established hygiene standards.
    • Collect, sort, and dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.
    • Ensure recycling of recyclable materials according to hotel policies.
    • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
    • Report any faults or issues with dishwashing equipment and collaborate with the technical team for repairs and maintenance.

    Job Requirements:

    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Good physical endurance to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks.
    • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and hygiene standards.
    • Organizational skills to manage tasks and priorities.
    • Team spirit and good communication to collaborate with other kitchen staff members.

    Languages: French proficiency is required. Any other spoken languages are considered an asset.
