What is the opportunity?
The Market & Counterparty Credit Risk (MCCR) area within Group Risk Management provides independent and effective monitoring, control and communication on the nature and extent of market and counterparty credit risks.
What will you do?

Triage and translate business and technology requirements into well-defined product requirements, including business outcomes, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Prioritize and maintain the priority backlog for assigned products, understanding the benefits and materiality of outcomes and balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
- Provide effective challenge on the business benefits and associated costs of requests in order
to put forward recommendations on the effective use of budget is this book of work the best use of our budget?: - Raise prioritization and timeline concerns to Business Leads in a timely manner to ensure stakeholders' concerns are proactively resolved.
- Work in an agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
Lead product release planning together with Scrum Masters, setting the expectation for delivery and playing an active role in mitigating impediments that impact the successful team completion of Sprint/Release goals.

elop a roadmap and drive product enhancements that align with the strategic vision and target architecture.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
- Strong partnership with Risk IT team members, Program Delivery especially with Risk Modernization Program
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication skills are key for this role.
- Proactive approach to meeting deliverables
- Understanding of key Market Risk Principles.
- Foundational grasp of market and counterparty credit risk functions and usage of infrastructure.
- Foundational understanding of cash and derivative products spanning all asset classes, including their associated risks measurement approaches.
- Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
- Graduate degree in Quantitative or Technical discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery and Product Ownership
Nice-to-have
- Good understanding of MCCR strategic technology stack and data strategy
- Proven experience with business systems analysis and program management
- Thorough understanding of Financial Institutions business process and risk management framework, including regulatory environment
- Maturity level and skill/judgment to deal effectively with market and counterparty credit risk groups, at a variety of seniority levels, across various geographies.
- Scrum Master Certification / Product Owner Certification
