Configuration Management (CM) Change Specialist II

Position Description:

The Configuration Management (CM) Change Specialist II is driven, collaborative, detail oriented, and customer focused, and will operate within the Configuration Management team in a dynamic fast paced environment.

The Change Specialist II will be interpreting all changes relative to documented procedures and standards.

They support the defining of the change, work collaboratively with others in considering the impact/approval, as well as ensuring documentation alignment and completeness.

College Diploma in a technical / manufacturing discipline (3 year) or a nontechnical discipline with relevant experience in a Configuration Management or related discipline
Minimum 12 years of experience in a technical and/or manufacturing environment
Proficiency in analyzing technical information (engineering drawings, specifications, changes)
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management and Enterprise systems
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
Ability to manage workload in a fast paced environment to schedule with high degree of quality
Ability to chair crossfunctional meetings with team members to obtain change impacts and approvals, and participate in other support forums.
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, Oracle, and/or other Product Lifecycle Management and Enterprise systems
Certified or eligible Engineering Technician / Technologist (OACETT), or eligible Professional Engineer
Industry recognized certification in Configuration Management or familiarity with Configuration Management standards
