OVERVIEW


The Student Admissions Advisor is often the first point of contact for prospective students and shapes the first impression of Robertson College through prompt contact, knowledge responses, and respectful interactions.


Reporting to Lead, Student Admissions Advisors, the Student Admissions Advisor should have a friendly, energetic, and positive approach to new leads that portrays the college and our programs in the best possible light.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Admissions Contact prospective students in a timely manner after they request information or contact the college and follow the lead policy guidelines- Ensure all students meet program requirements before starting them in a program. This includes verification of their required English proficiency depending on their chosen program.

  • Administrating correct college approved entrance assessments to students who are admitted under mature students status.

Product Knowledge (New Programs and Program Changes)

  • Keep uptodate with the latest features of the LMS that may be used to influence SAAs way of student recruitment

Student Support and follow-up- The SAA must support students as needed before, during, and after the admissions process.- This includes regular check-ins (every 10 days) with students between recruitment and start date, and the first 45 days after their start date.- Guiding the students to the right resources on how to connect with others Robertson Teams when needed.- Support NLG & LEG team with any students starting where needed, especially within the beginning of their journey.

  • Reach out must be made within the first week of the learners' start date and once more 20 days of the start date.

Marketing- Assist with marketing and branding efforts virtually through webinars and other means as needed.

  • Assist with marketing and branding efforts in person in the community through presentations, workshops, and our reach efforts as needed.

Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2+ years' experience working in sales, relationship building,- Excellent interpersonal skills- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines- Strong telephone skills; prior experience with high-volume calls is an asset

  • Friendly, Energetic, and have a positive attitude

Nice to Have- Customer service, or a combination of bothA degree or diploma in business is an asset- Experience in, admissions recruiting, education, or customer service/contract centre outbound is an asset

  • Experience working with internetbased communications tools

Location:
Hybrid - Winnipeg Campus

Schedule: 8:00 am 4:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
