About the Role:

Our Audit Group is looking for looking for an experienced, well rounded Manager to join our Standards & Guidance (Quality and Assurance) Group that services our growing Public Company Audit and Assurance Group in our downtown Vancouver office.

Your Responsibilities:

Work with the standards & guidance group, in a nonclient facing role, you will help to implement firm policies and procedures relating to the firm's quality management systems, including compliance matters, client acceptance processes, internal monitoring and resource management;
Provide technical reviews and consultations for high risk audit engagements and complex accounting and auditing issues;
Assist with the implementation of the new Canadian quality management standards;
Provide guidance to staff & partners in the audit group on technically challenging areas;
Assist with the firm's internal monitoring process and firm training events;
Communicate changes to firm standards and emerging auditing & accounting issues to audit partners & staff.

Qualifications, Skills and Personal Attributes:

Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge;
Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and initiatives;
Superior interpersonal skills and leadership skills with a commitment to professional and client service excellence;
