- Partner with leadership and managers on developing recruitment strategies and assessing hiring needs for each department/branch.
- Work with leadership and managers on ensuring job descriptions are updated to suit the needs of the department/branch.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment by leading the sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing and selection process.
- Liaise, oversee, and manage all partnership programs with colleges and universities, training institutions and community partners.
- Build candidate pool through job postings, attending career fairs, community networking events to identify and attract quality hires.
- Negotiate, deliver, and communicate employment contracts with potential candidates and communicate onboarding steps with new hires.
- Report on analytics related to recruitment and retention.
- Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to source potential candidates
- Conduct interviews and screenings to assess candidate qualifications
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop job descriptions
- Manage the full recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future opportunities
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress Position Requirements:
- Diploma and/or degree required with a focus on human resources an asset.
- 3-5 years experience in full cycle recruiting; industry specific experience an asset.
- Some travel will be required for this position (approximately 25%).
- Working knowledge of employment standards, collective agreements, employee relations, coaching and onboarding.
- Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR) an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
