Position Overview:

We currently have an opportunity to join our refurbishing shop.

Working closely with the Shop Manager, this positions offers an opportunity to learn and excel at a wide variety of mechanical and "handy" tasks, rebuilding refrigeration equipment as well as general shop tasks, maintenance and cleaning.


Primary Job Functions

  • General refurbishing tasks and repairs such as: sanding, gluing, hammering, screwing, drilling, sawing, cutting, including usage of power tools.
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving items, including heavy objects.
  • Dismantling and Assembling parts and equipment.
  • Washing and cleaning cases, parts and other equipment.
  • Assisting with shipping and receiving, particularly with unloading shipments, building crates, etc.
  • Daily cleaning of work areas.
  • Performs quick quality checks following task completion to ensure that work completed is presentable and is done to specification.
  • Performs related duties as needed or assigned.

  • Construction, plumbing, electrical and/or related refrigeration experience an asset
Starting wage is $24/hr-$35/hr plus excellent benefits after standard waiting period. Wage rate will be based on skills and experience.

$24.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
