Systems Analyst, Intermediate

Performance Expectations:

System Analysis and Evaluation:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
Analyze existing systems, processes, and data flows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Evaluate potential technology solutions and recommend the bestfit options.
AI Integration Assessment:
Evaluate AI and ML technologies and their suitability for specific projects.
User Persona and Behavior Analysis:
Conduct in-depth user persona and behavior analysis to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of our end-users.
Use datadriven insights to inform system design and enhancement decisions.
System Design and Development:
Design system specifications and develop detailed system requirements.
Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure the successful implementation of new systems or enhancements.
Create system prototypes and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
Data Management:
Design and develop data models and schemas to support reporting and analytics.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute test plans to verify system functionality and ensure data accuracy.
Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and workflows.
Provide user training and support documentation for new system implementations.
Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and manage projects related to system enhancements and implementations.
Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project completion.

Credentials:

Post secondary degree or diploma or in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent education and experience.
35 years experience in a Systems Analyst or similar role.
Proficiency in system analysis, design, and development methodologies.
Proficiency in user persona and behavior analysis techniques.
Strong knowledge of database management and data modeling.
Experience with project management and tracking tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with problemsolving abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
