We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Admin Intern at our MDF Manufacturing plant.

The primary responsibilities of this role include electronically E-filing documents and assisting with cleaning and sorting items in preparation for an upcoming move.

The position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

The Summer Student will contribute to the efficient management of documents and support the smooth transition during the relocation process.


What you'll do:


  • Digitally scan and convert physical documents into electronic files.
  • Ensure accurate labeling, categorization, and proper storage of electronic files.
  • Organize and maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines for file naming and organization.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and efficient efiling practices.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing physical items in preparation for a move.
  • Sort and categorize items based on predefined criteria.
  • Identify and discard items that are no longer needed or obsolete.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment throughout the process.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures while handling and disposing of items.

Who you are:


  • Currently enrolled in a postsecondary program, preferably in a relevant field such as records management, business administration
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and electronic filing systems.
  • Knowledge of document management and efiling practices is an asset.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data integrity.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must have reliable transport to the location.
