What you'll do You will be able to co-create with Cooper Lighting's strategic customers and partners through design sprints and co-creation workshops and potentially see your design mature into a market leader in the commercial lighting control space.- Participating in co-creation design workshops.- Designing user interface (UI) elements that provide an interactive, informative and engaging experience.- Conduct user research creating multiple personas and user journey maps.- Identify customers' pain points and success criteria.- Help with problem definition and reframing.- Design and prototype potential solutions.- Prepare lively demos for processes and prototypes using storytelling and animation tools.

Your qualifications- Enrolled in Post-secondary User Experience and/or Visual/Graphic Design-focused program- Design portfolio required (provide PDF or URL of sample design work) - Proficiency with leading UX Design industry software packages, including the core Adobe Creative Suite products.- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Demonstrates strong commitment to high-quality personal work ethic, while adhering to department standards- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and organization skills, meeting all project deadlines- Works independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities quickly in response to changing corporate/departmental goals.- Strong sense of branding, and usability and is adaptable to visual design styles.- Ability to work independently and productively with mínimal supervision.- Ability to organize your time and see projects through to completion is extremely important.
