QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario in Nuclear Medicine M.R.T. (N.).
One year Nuclear Medicine experience in the past five years in a similar hospital setting.
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the production and assessment of diagnostic images.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
Applies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and interdisciplinary practice by meeting nuclear medicine practice standards as outlined by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
Applies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service.
Integrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solving.
Working knowledge of Hospital and Diagnostic Imaging Information and Imaging Systems and other related computer systems.
Consistent and regular attendance required. o Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
